Lucban Quezon’s Pahiyas Festival is a vibrant festivity celebrated every 15th of May in honor of San Isidro Labrador and also a way of giving thanks for a good harvest. Different vegetables, fruits and rice wafers were displayed in every house resulting to a colorful and artistic designs.
It would take you 3 hour bus ride and 40 min jeepney ride to reach Lucban from Manila.
Lucban Quezon has many things to offer. Pancit habhab and Lucban longanisa are some of their specialties. Religious? Kamay ni Hesus is also known for a pilgrim spot. Tired and stressed out of work? Take time to relax in Batis Aramin, offering good set of pools and cabanas.
It was such a nice experience, just hoping that this place together with its culture will stay long and more colorful as time goes by. Pahiyas Festival, a festivity that would definitely show how artistic and vibrant in mind the Filipinos are.
